Title: ShiningSource.org is back
Post by: Ty on August 09, 2014, 03:21:07 am
It took a while to get hold of, but the shiningsource.org domain is finally back where it belongs. I've switched the site over to use the .org domain, and all .net links will redirect there as well. It shouldn't break anything, but we'll see.

If you have any problems, let me know!

I've also (finally) started making some improvements to the front end of the site. I've updated the projects page (http://www.shiningsource.org/projects/) to be a little more visually appealing, and it now sorts projects by recent activity.

The individual project pages are also getting a makeover, and I've started adding screenshots, downloads and a whole bunch of stuff. The Shiny Sword (http://www.shiningsource.org/projects/shiny-sword/) project page is a good example of some of the new features.

I'm slowly going through my hard drive and adding some older screenshots and demos from various projects. If you have anything that's missing, by all means send it over!

Oh, that looks brilliant!

Now all I have to do is to make my unofficially released content consistent with the project page by officially putting it up ;).

Well done :D

Thanks Dev :)

There's still a lot more I want to do, but I figured waiting for it to be perfect would take too long. Hopefully I can add some of the new dashboard stuff in the next few weeks.

Hey Ty,

I do notice that my latest commits are not popping up on the project page. Do you know perhaps why that could be?

Good point - I haven't set up the SVN post-commit hooks yet. I'll get that implemented this week :)
