My fellow Blahians,

You may notice the site has been down for a little while. There have been some big changes, including our glorious forum. I'll try and answer some questions I expect:

The forum looks rubbish!

That's not a question Tongue I didn't want to keep the forum down for another week, so I'm using a half-finished theme that I'll change as I fix things. I expect it to look a little wonky for a week or two, and it'll probably change a few times a day until it's completely ready.

I want to create an account on the main site but my username is taken!

Perhaps I shouldn't have said these were questions Sad Anyway, I set up accounts for the previous contributors, so if you're getting this message send me a PM & I'll set you up with a password.

Section X of the site is unfinished/sucks!

Again, I wanted to get the site online as soon as possible, and it seemed only right to upload the site in a half-finished state Wink

The new layout sucks!/I want the green back!

Cry

I'll be tweaking the site a lot this month, and your feedback will help so feel free to leave comments here.

Coolness! I love the new look! Cheesy
Also, WordPress rules and I'm glad we're rid of the bratwurstbots... Wink

I am quite sure this will give a BIG morale boost for the whole community Cheesy

Looks great to me - well done on all the hard work Smiley

I'll have a go at making some different icons for the forum and doing an article, but like Dev says, now we have a centralised repository (or something) for the Shining fangame community we'll go from strength to strength!

In fact, this reminds me of a pretty old forum look I have saved on my PC. I'll dig it out later for the sake of a nostalgic comparison Smiley

Smilies are much more typical Blah too. Hoorah!

Re: We're back (almost)
Can anyone help me with this? I tried to add a worklog entry using the WordPress Link Ty sent me but I'm getting an errror message when I click 'Publish'. I've pasted the error below.

"WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 2]
INSERT INTO wp_post2cat (post_id, category_id) VALUES (213, )"

EDIT: I see my post was posted but I didn't tag it as anything, so It doesn't show up under the worklog section. I didn't see a way of adding tags though. Perhaps I should have learned how to use wordpress before trying to write an entry!  Grin

Re: We're back (almost)
Thanks for the bug report, should be fixed now (I think it was a problem with the "Limit User Categories" plugin). I've also published those two entries Smiley

To make a worklog entry, open up the categories box and select your project name and the "Worklog Entry" category (untick "Uncategorized" too).
