Title: Project Count
Post by: Ty on November 01, 2004, 11:02:26 am
Seems that everything has gone a bit silent on the project front, so I want to do a quick count to see how many are still being worked on.

In other words, post your project and it's status please :)

Not dead, but not in progress at the moment either.  I'll go back and get it started some day.

about Dark Resurrection 3D:
-
I'm still busy learning Blitz3D. "types" have no secrets anymore  :D
Next up is: loading and saving of data (teh horror)

Bought Geoscape3D (that's a lot of 3D's huh) a few days ago.
So, I'm learning that too  :)

I'm beginning to make some huuuge maps now.   8)

Dabbling with code for the skyboxes.

Planning:

1) buying  Gamespace 1.5 and the Greenbriar Level Exporter (end of november)

2) buying Fruityloops and Magix MP3 maker (end of december)

I've started making a house in Maplet as an X.file . But Blitz turns it inside out and with no textures ( WTF  :?  ). Guess some more studying can't hurt  :o

Sadly, I can't show some pretty pictures right now

See y'all soon  :)

OT: I'm pretty sure Maplet is designed for making indoor scenes, hence the turning things inside out. There way be a way of switching it around, but I haven't used it for aaaaages so not sure.

Hey PvD, glad to hear you're still working on it.  Sorry I couldn't work on the story for you like I'd hoped.  Back then I just didn't have the time.  However that may be changing now, so if you have a messenger system PM me here to try to get in touch, unless you already have someone working on it.

@ Ty: yup, that's right. Maplet can only be used for indoor scenes.  :(
That's why I've decided on Gamespace
With this I can make normal houses for outdoor scenes.

@ Patrel: That's would great :D . I will send you a PM on TSS as well as SFC soon. (hmm, a lot of abbrev.     )

That'll be fine, though I only check in here on Sun/Mon, and I'm at SFC daily, so keep that in mind when PM'ing me.

*Pops the Champagne for SSC*
Shining Flash is also alive and well. There's a very good possibility that i might get Windows Server 2003 for free from the Engineering Dept at school. So i'm pondering the possibility of buying a faster machine and hosting Shining Flash in it. That way i could use the MM Communication Server and hello multiplayer games...
