Title: Shining Force Feather announced Post by: Newts on September 05, 2008, 08:47:27 am Yes, it's that time of year again when Sega like to tease us by announcing a "strategy RPG" with the Shining name attached. This time it's for DS and looks like a strange cross between Shining Soul and a more action-orientated turns-based battle system (if that makes sense!).

I don't think the fact the producer is that of SF3 will matter much, but one of the screenshots looks promising.
If the grid is removed in favour of radius of reach it could still be a decent game. I'd probably buy a DS just to play it, in all honesty, if it proved to be not just another three man team final fantasy-esque battle system. Game looks allright to me, although nowhere nearly as promising as the original series. The main lady has horrible x-legs and the name is the worst ever if you ask me :P. |
