With multiplayer performance in mind i've created a new engine that performs much, much better. The problem is that i think it may be too fast. In my server this thing runs so fast i only see a blur. :P
What do you think?

Too fast indeed, but you can always slow it down artificially by adding a timer or two ;).

Actually, as it turns out, i won't be needing to manually slow the engine down since, with the server connection and the other components, it already performs slower.
I've hit a milestone. I wired the engine onto the chat component. Right now i have the engine on top and a chat box on the bottom. Everything works perfectly. It's exciting to open up two browser windows, scroll the map engine on one and see the other one update. :)
The good thing is that now that i've mastered the process of client/server message passing i can just copy/paste code. I'm planning on releasing a demo soon.
