She basically said, "I love your personality, but there's this other guy that's better looking than you, so I don't like you." People are shallow. Like a puddle. I fell like an intellectual ocean, surrounded by tiny tidepools. They sustain themselves solely on my excess, yet try vainly to be seperate entities, and yet will never probe the depths as I can. I wish I could just find one person who actually cared about me based exclusively on my ability to carry a conversation that has nothing to do with TV or clothes. It's like my intellect and repetoire just don't matter, simply because I'm not Fabio. We intelligent people are the only reason the world is as advanced as it is, yet we're still treated like scum. I know what you mean about being alone...the best thing you can do is try to deal with it somehow in the meantime. Chances are there's someone out there for you (at least ive been told that) and she'll come along in due time. In the meantime, i say get a job and spend all the money on you :) Dont worry about people, they are shallow, just the way it is i suppose.
