Then again, between now and 5 billion years it's rather likely that at least someone will raise us from our graves. Perhaps we'll be drones then :P. Not to exclude other possibilities, but that is a reasonable one. Naturally, of course, it's not one that we really like, but traditionally we don't care to explain things as a function of whether we like it or not.
