Title: I've been accepted into University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee! Post by: Mage of Blackest Night on April 07, 2005, 10:04:01 pm I just got my letter of acceptance today! Now all I have to do is scrape together ten grand to pay for my freshman year...
Title: I've been accepted into University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee! Post by: Newts on April 07, 2005, 10:11:37 pm Congratulations! $10,000 is rather a lot to save up. Here are some of my top money-making tips:
Do some magazine shoots, as you're such an "Adonis". Find 150 sets of parents and tell them you'll permanently calm down their troublesome five year-old for a one-time fee of $100. Sell all your worldly goods. You must have some MTG cards which are worth a bit. Good luck, and let us know how it goes. Title: I've been accepted into University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee! Maybe you could do a sponsored DDR session, or have all your hair shaved off for money, presuming you've still got that curly moptop. Or you could put yourself up for auction. I'm sure someone out there needs a bit of MOBN-loving. Title: I've been accepted into University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee! Post by: Newts on April 08, 2005, 08:53:23 pm 1 - is it possible to major in two subjects? Good on you for choosing English though - REAL brainiacs go for English.
2 - good for you. 3 - what, forever? 4 - I'm sure there's someone out there who would pay top dollar for it. Title: I've been accepted into University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee! I love English anyway, so it all works out.
3-Only til I get married Title: I've been accepted into University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee! Post by: Newts on April 08, 2005, 09:08:56 pm You scored 1,000,000 points for saying you love English, and another 1,000,000 for having convictions. I don't share them, but good on you anyway.

And if my vriginity was worth money, it would really be for sale And 10k? I like mine for 1.4k Title: I've been accepted into University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee! If you get any good ideas tell me because i'm stumped as well. Gonna be heading off (hopefully) in about a year and money is the biggest concern next to being accepted. Post by: Seanikins on April 11, 2005, 04:02:48 pm sniff out grants...they're a bitch to get but if you do it'll take some of the stress out of it.
If absolutely nothing else is looking good then i reccomend a student loan but be sure to watch interest rates to see if they're on the rise or fall. |
