Well, should it? This is something that the public should be able to control, or at the very least, influence.

I'm all for it, actually. I think you might help other Sphere users by doing so and I also think that making your project open source increases the chance that others will have a go at Sphere too.

Besides, it gives me the chance to take a look and perform an occasional debug or tweak :P.

Oh wait, I am :P. I guess I will need a bunch of 'assistant programmers' then :P.
