Hello fellow Blahians,

The wheel has rolled, and I have answered.

That is all.

I should have replied to this on Friday, but I couldn't get to a computer. Suffice to say, the wheel was well and truly rollin' that night.

One glass isn't enough to get me drunk, but it's certainly jollified me a bit.

Rollin' rollin' rollin'!

It's 7:15am here and I am absolutely wasted. I went out last night with a lot of good friends, had a lot of wine and did a lot of talking, and generally had a jolly good time. I have been to bed since, it's just that I think the Red Bull I had is kicking in now - oh dear.

I wish I had something more apt to put in the Wheel, but I feel I am still honouring its standards by posting in this state. Also, excuse the perfect spelling and grammar - I am an English teacher you know ;)

O MIGHTY WHEEL, I SALUTE YOU!

Many happy returns, Dev.

I was so drunk last night (and this morning) that I've lost my glasses, and don't really remember a great deal. I can see the appeal of drinking so clearly now!

I was totalled last night after about a bottle and a half of wine. I managed to walk about a mile and a half home from my friend's house, with no real idea where I was. I'm normally a shit navigator as it is, let alone when shitfaced, but there we go. I made it home and was completely surprised and very proud.

Wish I'd posted. It would've been good.

Red wine (chianti) + home alone (Hannah's at her parents') = welcome to the wheel!

Incidentally, does anyone have any liver or fava beans?

I'm pretty drunk about now. 13 beers down ('m not a beer drinker) And I awas good to go. Just had a buddy drive me home. Oddly enough my stomache felt fine until me and this girl cstarted to fool around felt like I was gonna throw up. I felt like seuch a dick because I had to stop it. I'm a sad person :(

Title: Re: The Wheel of Morality Keeps on Rollin'
Post by: Newts on February 16, 2007, 12:35:25 pm
Ahh, don't worry Phill, we've all been there! To be honest it's better that you stopped because of puking for two reasons:

1. You didn't throw up on a girl. This is always a good thing.
2. You didn't expose any beer droop.

Don't worry about it, there will be other times. Thanks for sharing in the wheel though! :D

Haha definatly. I miss the smiley face o' dewm

On a sidenote, anyone happen to know how bad beer (non light) is for a diabetic with high suger? I just started acquiring a taste for it and now i'm a diabetic. Blerg.

Title: Re: The Wheel of Morality Keeps on Rollin'
Post by: Newts on February 25, 2007, 01:20:21 pm
Sorry to hear that, Phill. I found a decent set of articles on About.com - http://diabetes.about.com/b/a/000038.htm being the first one. There's also a list of links on this website - http://www.drinkbeergetthindiet.com/beer_&_health.htm.

Well from what I read, it appears drinking at all is bad, let alone getting smashed.

Its not like I get smashed a lot but its rather alarming to hear its very unhealthy for diabetics.

Title: Re: The Wheel of Morality Keeps on Rollin'
Post by: Shernal on March 06, 2007, 03:19:15 pm
Well I am not drunk now, but if I had internet at my apartment I would have posted during the four days straight that I was non-stop drinking. Well then of course I skipped the fifth day and drank on the sixth... Don't think I'm becoming an alcoholic though... just a heavy drinker...though my alcohol tolerance has practically doubled. :/

Worst. Hangover. Ever.

I woke up this morning half dressed, and it would appear I couldn't manage to undo my bow-tie so I just ripped it off. It's now in several pieces.

With a grand bottle of Les Fontenilles red wine to my name, I am answering the call of the wheel. I was hoping my typing would be wqorse by now, but I find myself correcting most of the mistakes ( except that one in worse, of course), just out f sheer habit.

Tomorrow I have work. I hope I am not hungoiver, but if I am, I am sure it will be amusing.

Cheers, Wheel!

VIVA BLAH!

Hah, I find that if I'm not drunk enough (in the not caring stage) I tend to correct my spelling and such as well.

I was even more drunk last night, and today I'm suffering from a much worse hangover, although I've still found time to post in the Wheel today. That's dedication for you.

Title: Re: The Wheel of Morality Keeps on Rollin'
Post by: Devlyn on May 19, 2007, 01:23:58 am
The wheel is rolling rambling trampling and squeezing me to new depths below. I lost my sanity, my consciousness, my last remnants of logic I used to cling to. The wheel unrolls, as I roll up to be a sausage of emotality, my identity lost, my life forsaken, my brain banished and my frivolity faminized.

No more shall the wheel roll, until the tomorrow morning, when it shall rebounce back upon me with a big smack!

Title: Re: The Wheel of Morality Keeps on Rollin'

Dev, that is too many big words for the Wheel. Though I like the idea i thought about it. If someone comes on here drunk, maybe they would try to retype those words but come up with better ones instead by butchering them.

Bad code :( 'Twas a routine for pre-scaling graphics, so a game with small graphics can look decent on a widescreen monitor without stretching. It works, but needs a little optimisation.

A few weeks ago I went to a party and got so drunk that I threw up on myself in the car. Then I smashed my face into a full tray of chocolate brownies. I couldn't eat anything the next day without throwing up, and I just wanted the world to end.

Good times.

It's moments like that make me proud to be a member of this family. Good work.

I haven't got very drunk lately, but I did have a bit too much wine and play SingStar Dance with Hannah. The catastrophic (and painful) results are available to view online as a warning to future generations.
