Ye Olde Blah

One of the things I used to do was paste inspiring/amusing quotes into the Shining Online source code. That way every time I opened it up I would be greeted with something to encourage me...

A few greats (names removed to protect the guilty where appropriate):

"Nice game(sept the trees). The house was ripped from SF2, the guy next to the statue is a default character from rpgmaker2k. It's a good effort and I commend them for trying, since they are alot farther than I am at the moment."

"There is a shining Online, Not Shining Lore Altough I doubt it will ever get past the first little city they made, and also, its not what you think, the only online part the people making it were going to do was have you face off your team vs someone elses."

Sweet, sweet memories. I never did store the old feedback on the Shiny Sword, but I do remember one response:

"OMG this looks way better!"
(when running the original Verge Shiny Sword in 320x240 instead of the usual 640x480. Never mind that he couldn't see anything of the interface or 3/4th of the screen ;))

Some of those quotes are good, but I think the ones on the wall are better, particularly ChaosShadow's hype for his game.

Ah yes, those quotes:

"I have about 20 active people so far since the releace last night and they ALL LOVE it like it was there own child. Now, don't expect too much since this is just a demo."

"I just got another three players on last night and they loved the game. They think it will be great like Graal or sobetter once I get some more levels, graphics in, and put in some puzzles"

I quite like being modest.

Dev: You'll have to be patient :P I have Cody running around a map (again), but there's not much of anything fun to show yet. I'm trying to sort a few little things out (like more interactive objects), but it's taking its sweet time.
