In a fit of nostalgia, I started digging through web.archive.org for the old style Shining Source. Remember the old acmefiles site? Now it's just a download website Even the old Shining Online geocities is going to die next month, although here's the very first site for it.
Slightly related: Does anybody know how old the Shining Source actually is? I'm guessing it's about 9 years old now, but I'm not totally sure.
Also, I'd totally forgotten about this smiley: LB^D

Hey Ty,
If I recall correctly, we started the Shining Source endeavour on August 10th 2000. Before that it was just a site for the Shiny Sword and before that it was just my personal homepage on Angelfire .

I'd almost forgotten about this, from many years back. Someone was leeching the new post and reply buttons, so I changed them a little.
Good times.
Good times.

Speaking of nostalgia, I remember back in high school I used to visit Ye Olde Blah daily, if not several times a day. It's been a while since I've been here.
Hi, btw =P

Re: A sad day
i remember back when i was really little i used to play shining force 2 (or well try to play it) my English was really poor back than so i could not even find a way to get to the first fight and when i finally made it that far i didn't know how to play it xD but well i learned how to play some time later and loved the game . Than the new challenge was that i didn't know how to revive characters so i came to the last battle before going to new land or however it is called with only jaha and bowie xD.And in time i overcame that problem and the last thing was that i didn't know how to save... so the most far place i could come to was the pheonix fort or what ever it was good times

Ah thanks. I'm surprised you saw it so fast, lol. I linked to you guys, as I've always considered you one of the better Shining sites, even if the forums aren't super popular.

OK here's something peanut buttery goodness to keep Devlyn knowing we love him.

A couple of comments in the profile are worth a read too.

That's got Devlyn written all over it. I'm not sure why the parental rating is #2, though.
