Well, I just had a girl tell me that she wouldn't go out with me, because I was ugly.
She basically said, "I love your personality, but there's this other guy that's better looking than you, so I don't like you."
People are shallow.
Like a puddle.
I fell like an intellectual ocean, surrounded by tiny tidepools.  They sustain themselves solely on my excess, yet try vainly to be seperate entities, and yet will never probe the depths as I can.
I wish I could just find one person who actually cared about me based exclusively on my ability to carry a conversation that has nothing to do with TV or clothes.  It's like my intellect and repetoire just don't matter, simply because I'm not Fabio.  We intelligent people are the only reason the world is as advanced as it is, yet we're still treated like scum.
I hate people.

Simple, convert to Nihilism. Even if you dont do anything as a Nihilist, the word Nihilism sounds cool.

More often than not Intelligence is a trait sought only by those who are older, who want to marry and settle down and so forth.
I know what you mean about being alone...the best thing you can do is try to deal with it somehow in the meantime. Chances are there's someone out there for you (at least ive been told that) and she'll come along in due time.

In the meantime, i say get a job and spend all the money on you Smiley

Dont worry about people, they are shallow, just the way it is i suppose.
She'll be wondering what a relationship would've been like with you when she's pregnant and the guy runs away cause he doesnt have the courage to support a child Tongue

Maybve the fact that you wear a blue robe and hide your face under a giant pointy hat, and have giant, oval shaped, shining yellow eyes turned her off.

Just trying to make you understand...

Whether a girl wants to go out with you or not is her decision and, as such, is based on her own criteria. Don't even try to understand why she doesn't want to go out with you, because you'll spend the rest of your life trying to work out how girls work, so enjoy the time off whilst you still can.

This girl might be shallow, but don't tar the rest of womankind with the same brush, and don't get a chip on your shoulder about it. Chalk it up to experience and get on with your life.

Women don't want to jump into a cold intellectual ocean. Give them a warm intellectual bubble bath instead Wink.

Unless it's with a few straws and a hairdryer. That'd be fine.

Trust me, for every guy cursing their luck because they don't see themselves as good-looking enough, there's a girl who's been turned down because her boobs aren't as big as her mate's, or because she's got an arse the size of a small country. Boys are just as bad as girls.

Girls don't want oceans, and they don't want weirdos. They want nice guys who treat them like human beings. I should imagine, I'm no authority.

But that's exactly what I did.
I'm one of those people who prefers to either look you in the eye or, ocasionally, stare nervously at a wall.  I really have a need to stare at a girl's body (I'll leave that sort of thing to our departed Paul), and do my best to be chivalrous (holding doors, letting her go first, letting her make decisions, wearing deoderant), yet all of that gets ignored because i'm homely?
I think for once the fault does not lie with me.

MOBN, i'm going to give you advise on girls 'cause my god i have a big Chicktionary...

when u really like a girl, tell her, be nice and buy her something no one's ever bought her before ( something a girl would like, ask sister or mother )..
Then whatever the reaction is... send her a card ( paper not email with a sweet text, not too drastic. )

Now... the hard part the upkeep...

when she agrees on a date kiss the #$%@@$#% at the end ( important )

After you''ve gone through dating and are steady as they call that.. ( here's the hard part ) stop treating her good.

""if you chase a dogg it runs away, treat her like shit and she''ll come running"" wanting it to be just the way when you met... swap nice and less nice regularly.. constantly nice will bore her and make her fall for the badguy that looks cute..

I can't remember what i was trying to forget
