With multiplayer performance in mind i've created a new engine that performs much, much better. The problem is that i think it may be too fast. In my server this thing runs so fast i only see a blur.
What do you think?

Too fast indeed, but you can always slow it down artificially by adding a timer or two .

Actually, as it turns out, i won't be needing to manually slow the engine down since, with the server connection and the other components, it already performs slower.
I've hit a milestone. I wired the engine onto the chat component. Right now i have the engine on top and a chat box on the bottom. Everything works perfectly. It's exciting to open up two browser windows, scroll the map engine on one and see the other one update.
The good thing is that now that i've mastered the process of client/server message passing i can just copy/paste code. I'm planning on releasing a demo soon.
