Reading the title, I thought gamekult was announcing the new shining source website... I was wrong. Too bad!

mansion,

Thriller.

124   Core Engine
For example:

prepare a character, to which you associate a coordinate in the map.
Prepare the fact that, if you press a given key, the coordinate will be changed by a given amount.
Prepare the fact that a bitmap is also associated with your character.
Prepare the fact that this bitmap is to be displayed on the map at a given coordinate of the map
Prepare the fact that, when the key is pressed, the coordinate of the bitmap might change
Prepare the display of the new bitmap on the map every time a key is pressed (for example)
etc...
If you imagine animation, you could have to display more bitmaps anytime one key is pressed.
There is another key for moving the character in the other direction (say right if left was your first choice).
There are again two other keys for moving the character up and down

etc etc...

Are these done with SMEE?

126   small SF2 sprites - where?

127   small SF2 sprites - where?
A great idea that was exposed there:

somewhere around the middle of the page....
but did not meet any echo... Snif snif...
However, a great idea.

128   your name a cyborg-acronym
Z.Y.L.O.K.H.: Zeta Ytterbium Lifeform Optimized for Killing and Harm

Just so unlike me...

129   any ladies here?
Reminds me of my good ole boarding school... snif snif (nostalgy)

130   Dark Resurrection 3D
It worked on my PC (Win XP, that is).
I had a little trouble when moving May (maybe out of range) but otherwise, it seemed to work fine. The graphics and battle engine seemed to work fine.

131   SF Project
Waoh help.... Great... Well, there are loads to do on Shining Odyssey, as you can notice from the (ugly) latest demo, so help is warmly welcome...

Ok, never mind, I've figured out what I have to do.
I must really be bad at explaining things. What I wanted had nothing to do with code, only the final appearance of the stat boxes within the actual game. But thanks anyway Peter & Moth Smiley.

I actually had understood that, so you're probably not that bad at explaining.     However, I had no idea how to solve it

133   Dark Resurrection 3D
@ Sir Phill: Unfortunately the game only works if you are using Windows 95/98 or one of the earlier versions of Windows 2000

Is there a software that would emulate Win 95or Win98 under Win XP???

134   SF Project
Do I need a storyline???
That's a vast question....
Shining Odyssey is allegedly based on an already written storyline from a famous French comic, but I'm not that far in the story that I couldn't change my opinion about that.

However, Shining Odyssey is currently "on hold" and I'm sure development will not start again any time before August...
