i'm thinking of signing up for it when my exams finish.....

i was just wandering if anyone here was a member and could tell me if it was worth it?.... in particular - does it compare to Ultima Online? i used to be a happy member of that.. until my brother took over my account (grr)

I haven"t been a member (don"t have enough time to play...)
but I heard much stuff from SWG - most people admit that it is a nice game with the star wars bonus - meaning it has the usual MMORG problems (like wasting time between missions and with "recharching") - common opinion is that if and only if you are a real SW fan you should join it - if you just want an new MMORG you should wait for Warcraft - not sure if that is any help.

I've heard it was crap and real buggy and didnt even seem finished

I hear bad stuff about this game all the time, it had the ideas, but the implementation was bad.
