The Shining Source

A question obviously inspired by my current situation.

I'll go first.

I want to have passed my course, first and foremost. I want to have avoided being killed by Hannah or Kelly for being a lazy, sarcastic bastard. (The latter of these is probably the harder to achieve.)

I want to have spent a good summer at home with everyone. I want to be starting a new (my first) job. I want everyone to be happy and healthy.

I would also like a new Shining Online demo.

I don't ask for much, do I?

After these next twelve months have passed us by, where do you want to be in life? What do you want to have changed? What are you scared of losing?

In a year? Well, i'll just be finishing my placement year. They'll hopefully be shoving lots of money in my pocket and offering me a job as a graduate.

Should update SFW at least twice this year (maybe a new top banner).

Also want to chill out mostly and just enjoy a year without projects or coursework!!

Oh, and i want to make a few shining-oriented games with Java. But we'll see!

In a year i'm hoping to be sitting in Ohio University listening to a class on creative writing then coming home and playing the full version of Shining Online (hehe)

By next year i'm hoping to have an apartment with a couple of friends in it and to be working on my first (good) book.

How likely do you think it is that you'll achieve these goals?

Not likely...i'm far more likely to EXCEED them.  :roll:

What do you want to achieve? Are there any goals or ambitions you want to satiate? What's going to be driving you in the next year?

I want to go back to Europe and kick some ass there for a while.

The alive, happy and healthy thing is my goal mate.

It is what drives me.

I just want to get through college and start making more than spare change for an income. :lol:

Here's how I did on mine:



I did it, but not in the way I would have liked. Still, a pass is a pass.



This wasn't as tough as the above one; we had our moments, but otherwise it was fine.



I spent a good week and a bit at home and a week at Hannah's place. It was a very nice summer.

With the exception of Hannah's grandad who sadly passed away, everyone is in excellent shape.

Sometimes I think things are bad, but looking over that I realise that, actually, it's pretty good

Did you meet all your goals? What has replaced them? Where do you want to be by New Year, your next birthday, one year's time or some other milestone?

In a year I will (hopefully) be a published author

In a year I shall have secured my place as supreme overlord of the Commonwealth Dictatorship of Antartica.

Realistically, I'd like to actually be making some money to live.

I will probably be married by then too.
