Hello! I've just recently joined the YoB, but I noticed it's not exactly jumping around here, despite a few recent posts. So, what's the status of the Shiningsource community? Are most of the projects still being worked on?
I thought I'd just ask.
Guess I'm lazy...

Many projects are rather inactive, but one new project has been launched recently, and several other projects are still ongoing or will be picked up again in a later stage.
There are some people (like me) though, who are having a tough time with work & school deadlines unfortunately :/.
For example, I'm currently working on my Master's Project .

It's not massively busy although it is probably the busiest it's been in quite some time. We're all preoccupied with something or other at the moment - I'm with Dev on the Uni front - but recently I think we've experienced a small but noticeable increase in posting.
Oh yes, and we have a girl here now.

Actually last year we had a really busy period too, but as of late things have been exceedingly dead .
That is about to change though, methinks .

Measuring the reliability of computational sites in the Grid.
Quite a mouthful, eh?

So you can say smart things like "They are fairly reliable" and look really smart?
haha nah sounds interesting, have you found any computers that have become sentient yet? I reckon they'd be the most reliable, not wanting to break or anything they'd do whatever it took to stay online!

Sounds about as exciting the last two assignments I wrote:
"An evaluation of a teaching and learning sequence in the classroom"
And
"Fostering 'Can-Do' Pupils: Empowering Language in the Classroom"
That little phrase "in the classroom" is good for all seasons.
My next assignment is about games. In the classroom.

Which buttons? That sounds like the anti-leeching script has gone a bit haywire
