The latest "Shining Force" project was an action RPG. This new project is not even "force"-labelled. Just "Shining". It will probably be a non-RPG action game. Maybe an FPS? |

Most needed are monster sprites. They should be 24*32 ? la Shining Force. Character sprites could be useful too. I could send you an example. I intend to use battle sprites for the battle animations, so there is no need for drawing an extra sprite just for the battle animations.
Also neede are character portraits and battle animation backgrounds. For towns and cities, I could manage. You could check the webpage to see how the chars look like... |

for me, you're right, it sounds like shining force is no more...
Seems that the idea behind all this is that the hero himself will incarnate the 12 force warriors. I expect him to change into a pegasus knight, a cyclops or a robot later in the game.... I dread the name of the follow-up of this game: "shining force neo 2"? ugh... |
