I saw mention of a console called the Treamcast on the Sega official forums a couple of days ago. It is a slightly redesigned Dreamcast with an LCD attached to it. I managed to find it on Ebay:

It's not officially supported by Sega, but damn I would buy one if I had the money right now. Sad

What do you guys think of this?

I think it's cute Cheesy.
It could've been a hit if they still developed games for it...

The tiny speaker on the side is pretty cool Cheesy And a little volume dial too Tongue

It makes sense to release LCD screens for the smaller consoles, like Dreamcast and Gamecube. It just baffles me why there's an X-Box one :\

Ty's out in the States at the moment, I'll have him keep his ear to the ground for a cheap one [even though he only just put his Dreamcast away Tongue]

wasn't that thing released on Lik-San a while ago? I think I remember a long story about it. Like they were close to get the offical OK by Sega but failed in the end. Next to that I remember having heard that it is full working and stuff but you need to handle it with care as you it is manufactured cheaply. I really wanted one of them as I read that story...

t's not like I really care

Yeah, I saw the Xbox LCD at a store a while back. That thing is ridiculous! It's this big chunk of plastic with a Gameboy-sized screen in the center and two speakers.

It's the equivalent of carrying around a 500-seater cinema with a screen the size of a matchbox Tongue
