I made some inside house graphics, thought I'd post em here and get some cretiques. I'll be re-doing the floor(now) so keep that out, but is there anything I should change? I seem to really like the color, but lets here it from the masters. ;-)

By the way all mods, if I'm posting to many graphic topics please tell me. I'm not quite sure if you want me to just make one topic and put all my graphics in there or not.

Update 1: I made the walls more top down, but does it look better than the flat walls?

Well, the shaded walls definitely look better than before, there's a more-defined sense of perspective, so that's good. As for the other tiles, it isn't really clear what you're trying to achieve - I assume we're seeing the tops of the bricks, but it doesn't really look like that at the moment. The wall's definitely improved, though Smiley

Actually its not the top of the bricks, its a layer of wood. I do believe back in the medeival times they used wood planks to seperate the the first and second floors, accept in the castles. I could maybe try making the top of the bricks but I never have before.

Ah well, the texture isn't very wood-like, and instead of using a continuous border of wood, maybe you could split it up into component planks? I'd recommend removing some of those dark brown lines to give more space to the actual body of the wood, and perhaps putting in a few knots and whirls to try and give it a woody texture. Good luck Smiley

Nice job, but they look a bit confusing.  You couldn't tell if they were wood or brick unless you were told.  Good luck fixing them.  Cheesy

Looking good - how are you at drawing character sprites, Gustave? Not that I ask for any specific reason, you understand Wink
