Not at all! On the contrary, I'm going quite well in Hattrick!
It's just that I am still training my old trainees, and that I'm quite inactive on the transfer market

Same thing with me, though i'm expecting 2 or 3 increases tomorrow, so i'll post them here for show off
.
BTW, i promoted to IV and managed to win my first match but i'm quite sure i won't be able to avoid auto-demotion, though i did get an outstanding midfield without MOTS'ing and with only a composed TS
.
I also changed my logo, bought a formidable forward, a formidable defender and a guy with solid passing and excellent set pieces for counter-attacking.
My next league match will be against a team with a good midfield, and though they will surely PIC and my TS is satisfied (meaning i could get a formidable-outstanding midfield) i'll still go for counter-attacking.
I'm interested to see how well i can do with the CA strategy which i plan to be using alot. I have a defender with passable passing, another with solid passing, and my formidable defenseman has weak passing so i should have around an excellent counter-attacking ability. I'm going to play 5-3-2 with my wingers and wingbacks offensive and my only inner-midfielder towards the right wing, which should produce a mythical to magical right attack. I'll also have a guy with excellent set pieces, three guys (including my two forwards) with head ability and two quick wingers to produce some serious goal events

brilliant strategy
Did i mention i''m trining winger now already ?
I've spent some Cash ( 4mil ) to buy some good trainees
I never used to be a training type, but they fucked up the free market

Sounds like a wise decision! Hopefully you'll soon find your way to higher leagues

A guy in my series is still daytrading. Imagine all the business he gets now that there's so much less people scanning the market for daytrading material.

Job dont rely too much on CA, I tried it a lot and with 5 defenders and a CA-skill of Brilliant but it sure isnt that good. I won a couple of matches with it but that was cause the difference between midfields werent that big. This info offcoarse is based on the last season-setting, hopefully CA will rule but I doubt it.

Did you have a good attack? I haven't deployed my counter-attack strategy yet because my midfielders are up in form and my TS is very good. I plan on using it this week because my opponent pulls a magnificent midfield without trouble, but has only a passable central attack, especially now that he has an injured forward. Besides, he was the series' champion last season, so if i lose it won't be a big deal.

I think CA has been improved since... I have seen inferior teams pull out draws (usually 1-1) with it, but it doesn't seem to be a definite winner strategy.
It works if your team is slightly worse, but don't expect a miracle... Also, completely abandoning the inner midfield doesn't seem like a good idea to me... regularly, there's ten chances per match... say you get 40% possession, means you get 4 out of 10 chances. If you completely abandon the midfield you get zero chances... for a counter attack, he needs to attack first and then you get a CHANCE to counter. So... why bother getting a chance for a counter attack, if you can get a few certain attack by putting a good midfielder up?
Or am I on a side track here?

I agree on the midfielder. I'm playing him towards wing just so that i can get a really high attack rating, like mythical or magical
. Even if that does cost me the game, there's times in life where you just need to show off, even if it's to one's disadvantage.

All right, i decided on a plain 4-4-2 CA strategy. My midfield will be around inadequate because i'm PIC'ing and CA'ing.
