The Shining Source

What do you think? One of the shots, with the rainbow and the waterfall, looks just like a next-generation Shining Force III would, which is great. The others look very cartoony and stylised, which I suppose is no bad thing. I'm certainly looking forward to seeing some high-res shots though, as opposed to scans

This game is soooo gunna suck... lets hope I'm proved wrong. Its nice to know the Dragon Force guy is working on the characters, but the battle system ( if thats what its meant to be on the screenshots ) arent very SF'ish.

Guess you can say fuck all after looking at the screenshots. Maybe we'll be lucky to see a SF3 follow up tho the some of the screenshots remind me of anime cut scenes. We'll have to wait and see....

I agree with bEn, you can't judge a single thing about the gameplay from those shots.

The waterfall shot looks cool, but the other's look a little...bright. Hopefully will be true to the Shining Style.

Any shining force is welcome for me.

The waterfall shot does look great - I'm a bit concerned they have buggered about with the battle system (and also the storyline from what Aspartate translated over on SFC) but that won't necessarily stop it being enjoyable. I cant wait for some more info

I must be the only one that can't see any images on that site.

I saw them and it kinda made me cringe, i hope they come out with better shots showing the battles that hopefully are more SFish

If this turns out to be like FF, then sells well, you can say goodbye to the Shining Force style...

It looks like it's going to be Shining Soul in 3D.

I think a video will be released in November, so then we'll all finally see what the future looks like.
