I played against Ruud Gullit and Marco van Basten with soccer yesterday Tongue.

Oh, and they both scored a goal against me too Wink.

You found a still-working Amiga with a version of KickOff 1986?

Are you serious?

Definately Cheesy. Marco didn't come on the pitch until the second half though, and I only noticed him very late in the game Wink.

You can imagine my astonishment when I saw them in the opposing team Tongue.

And Zylokh, although they're tactically brilliant, they did lose some of their physical characteristics since 1986 Wink.

I can see it now - "oh look, there's Ruud Gullit. Hi Ruud! Oh, you've just scored. Never mind."

"Look, there's Marco van Basten! Didn't notice you there, Marco! Oh, you've just scored as well"

It must be difficult to keep goal with big stars in your eyes Tongue Still, must've been quite an experience - I'm more than a bit jealous...

Heck, who knows? Perhaps someday you'll end up playing a match with Alan Shearer or something Wink.

Kool Smiley

I assume you were in goal then? Did you manage to make any saves from them?

I managed to save a corner, a free kick and some predictable passes. Because the remainder of their team consisted of dimwits they had to point out their strategy, making their tactics predictable at times Smiley.

Correct Mage, you are Tongue Marco van Basten is generally regarded as one of the best strikers the world has ever seen, and Ruud Gullit was a fine midfielder in his day, and did all right when he managed Chelsea too.

This concludes today's European Football lesson Tongue
