The forum is so dead! I remeber a time when there were so many posts that the flood control had valid use. I remember a 500 post thread completely in l33t. I remember people actually talking. I remember Ye Olde Chat.
Why is our community so dead? This was one of my few sources of entertainment each day!
I will mourn for YoB, but I will also continue to post on her corpse!

i guess there could be alot of theories as to why YoBlah has fallen silent

Why is this place dead?
Well I am looking for a project to work on. However I'm useless for programing as I said, so I guess that limits my usefulness. But I'm up for playing thru games and researching statistical data, or whatever other menial help I could be. Story writing, developing game mechanics, etc.

Well there are lots of projects to work on...
I think it even is good to not being a programmer, as each project probably has enough of these resources.
Probably a good thing could be to try the various demos up on the shining source, and see if one seems interesting enough for you to work on.

Whatever became of the project to remake FC so that it was playable in English? Didn't someone atleast start one? I thought I remembered this from atleast a year ago...

That project was threatened with the axe...i think there was a lack of support for graphics ripping etc. I remember the news update on tss pleading for support. I'm not sure what happened in the end.
I'll be starting a shining project....probably after i graduate in 2007 :/
However, i shall still post here. I have posted a fair bit in the last few days. Think i killed a few topics as well

Well, I first arrived here because the WolfPack forums were hosted here... after two sets or so, WolfPack quit but I've just stuck around since .
I was dragged into Hattrick by you guys, and I don't know beans about programming or Shining Force so most of the side boards are of no use to me... I still visit every few days to see if there's any new interesting topics. Maybe we could discuss current events more in General Talk?
