About politics, something funny happened here.
The left wing party had to choose if they would recommend voting "yes" or "no" to the European constitution. They ended up choosing voting "yes".
The only question that journalists asked is that the left-wing leader who was in favor for "No" (and thus lost) would loose any chance as being selected as the left-wing candidate for the presidential elections in 2007!
Who cares? Can't journalist ask questions about the European constitution?

as far as politics go:
I think that we've all become big pussies. War used to BE politics in the early ages of man. And the wool was pulled over the public's eyes save the military (referring to the Roman Empire).
Were damned if we do and were damned if we dont. If we go into any conflict whatever it may be then the oppositional party of whomever is in office will bitch and moan. If we happen to be attacked, however that may come about, then people will bitch and moan at the administration
No one seems to understand that it is impossible to please everyone, and the minority opinion gets the most media coverage...its just stupid.
