Oh I know that one, it's the hakkondo code for the ancient curse "eat this salami or else you will die a slow and painful death".

What I want to know, is who here would ever eat salami anyone else from this board offered them?  Certainly they would eat the salami themselves before offering it out unless there was something dreadfully wrong with it, because there's nothing to be said for someone who doesn't eat all their own salami.  Of course, they may have tonnes and tonnes of salami for themselves and then possibly they could decide to be generous, but then at least there would be a swap for someones extra herring...

I have been known to ingest food which Ty himself has prepared/offered, but he's about the only one I'd trust. I wouldn't mind some salami Sean offered me of course, but you never know what those guys do to it on the flight over.

Yeah anything that has been cleared by customs should be ok, as long as you get the customs delcaration form off them and make sure it's not categorised under something other than deli food.

A friend of mine told me off for spelling it "baloney" - she claims it's actually spelt bologna, but pronounced baloney/baloni. She's half-Italian and from New York, so if anyone should know what they're talking about it should be her (stereotypes ahoy!) but I'm sticking to good ol' baloney by now.
