After four years with a crappy PC i've finally bought a serious machine. It's a Precision Workstation with two 3Ghz processors and 1MB memory. It has a 19 inch flat screen, ATI FireGL and DVD burner.
Immediatly after i got it i formatted the hard drive and installed the server OS. Currently, it is running MS Windows 2003 server, and MS ISA 2004 server. I will also install MS SQL 2005 Server and MM Communication Server. All of the server software i got for free from my university.
I don't have a static IP but i'm hoping to find a way around that so i can host Shining Flash.
Yay Microsoft. Smiley

I have DSL with a dynamic IP but there are ways to prevent the IP from changing.

They gave me free software, so I can't hate them.

Were you being sarcastic Ty, or did they really give you free software as well? Smiley

No sarcasm for once Smiley

I've got Project 2003, Visio 2003, Win XP Pro, Server 2003, Some SQL stuff and Visual Studio 2003 Pro. All full versions, and all for free. Part of their academic alliance package.

Funny thing is, university gives you access to all this stuff but can't be bothered to install XP on the network, and not a single machine in university has the .NET framework. What a crock.
