Is it just me or is America gone from the land of the free to the land of the jerks, pompus dickwads, screwed up sickos, and perverted adults? Where has all the respect gone where is the chivalry where in the world is there people who live by the codes of humanity instead of humility?

havnt you heard?
Counterculture is in...big time. Its cool to bash the president, pirate software, and fight "The Man".
Personally i think this country will never be happy with itself, If kerry won..then kerry would be getting bashed....
Outside of the presidency I feel that this generation in particular has completely forgotten the lessons of our ancestors and our past glory. Personally i hope i can outclass each and every one of you, get a high paying position, and retire in comfort.
Its nothing personal, Its just Business

For the longest time I have wanted to try and spread happiness yet everyone I have shown it to has spat it back in my face, the generation we are dealing with now is just a big group of copy cats and posers. I feel that no matter what is done over 75% of the U.S. will not have their own persona and will fall into majority rule and forever will be unhappy with ones self. Myself I am goin to make a dent in this world before I go and I will make sure my name is known.
Along the lines of having a high position, I am working on that myself and will retire with happiness in the comfort of me own luxury.

America, the sad sad country I live in, we shoot people because we want to, we invade without true reason, we can't make up our mind about what we want, and to top it off, we are hypocritical and look down on other nations telling them to fix their style... Now then, in somewhere say... England? Same problems, only significantly less... Well minus the whole invadeing thing... We people as Americans are not fully sure what we want, being raised in a mixed nation is odd... I shall be the first from my family to graduate from High School, and College as well (duh on that)
What America needs is a good boot to the ass and a new set of rules! In my opinion anyway... nothing like a good ol communist to fix the states right up... :-P Jokeing at that, however we do need less people that think our goverment is out to get them and pedofiles and drug addicts and so on... Land of the jerks, dickwads and what not? No, not yet, we havn't even been able to downsize our ego to that yet... Give us 30 years, maybe then it will rank as that, better than the Hypocritical, "Piss off I got something else to take over" "I R SMURT" land we are now...

Were not invading..were just imposing our political beleifs (which even we ourselves dont do too well) on countries dominated by religion because we feel that our way is the only way.
Sure we'll have a continuing military presence there (south korea..anyone?)
but hopefully all the real fighting will be handed off to the Iraqis who will be doing it for themselves.
Bottom line is, the election went through just fine. Sure the Sunni Triangle didnt vote but that's because they were afraid of getting their asses blown up, and quite frankly that's just a byproduct of that particular region. But the process is taking, and many who voted were quite happy and delighted. I think i'd be after five decades of iron fist dictatorship.
The violence wont stop anytime soon, more will die, and i doubt we'll pull out anytime soon. I'm damn glad that we arent since that's the very reason most of those countries hate us anyway, Back before Osama was even an issue we were put in a position to help these people out...and we didnt. Desert Storm we could've continued on into iraq and taken Saddam out of the equasion much much sooner than we did...but that's just all hearsay. (man i bet Norman was pissed when he was ordered to stop..).
They are tired of half measures, and im happy we've got a president with balls.
Pertaining to the innards of America...welcome to capitalism. Greed and Violence are ingrained into the system. The Aristocracy continues to run the country on old ideas. Not to mention everyone's too busy bashing authority or the current administration to either feel cool or fit in..sit on their hands and not contribute what-so-ever.
I miss 1942, where it was clear and the country was driven to sacrifice for the sake of the free world. I doubt we will ever be able to restore that sort of glory ever again.
(oh and by the way, we could've helped Britain out and saved many lives earlier during the war. However if we did then the great RAF might've not undergone its baptism by fire, and those brave men might not have had to go into the face of death under daunting odds to protect their skies...God bless the RAF!!!)
My opinion..take it or leave it..but if you leave it i just wont listen to your rebuttle

Im not saying I hate Bush mind you, I would rather him over the other options... thus far hes done a desent job I suppose, being that I don't really care for goverments however.... In anycase I would rather us mind our own bus. rather than invadeing another country because of their religion taught them that people like us are evil... Hell thats what Charles Manson taught to some degree, All of us shall burn and die unless we gave him every penny we had and drank the cyiniad... Wow! Intresting concept there...

Personally I think we should not interfere with the way people live, let them express themselves of who they really are, let them live by which they choose, instead of a big bad power trying to change it. If they like the way they live then leave them alone, if they dont, then isn't that what moving to america is for? Or leaving for that matter?
