I know they do indeed exist..and that they are currently taken, However:

Would you really want a girl that gamed? To some the first impulse is to run at her with grab-like motions..for others im not so sure. The added competition may be a bit of a strain if she's into the same stuff you are. The other is that damned 'battle of the sexes' nonsense...imagine having to prove your worth as a man every bloddy time you sit down to enjoy a bit of the olde favorite game of the moment.

Im not so sure myself what i would desire. Personally i think it'd be kindof cool since statistically Female gamers are usually into FPShooters, RPGs, Platforms, and Fighting Games. most of which are a bit further away from my gaming passions of Shooters, Platforms, RPGs, Strategy Games.

Then again most (not all) games these days are geared towards a more Male crowd anyhow...the breasts flyin' around and everything.

Ah well...Discuss!

Hannah's definitely into her gaming - granted, not to the same extent I am, but she has a GBA and a Gamecube and is particularly fond of the latter. She's currently about a year ahead of me in Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life on the Gamecube (and I recently had to buy a second copy, so she could keep my old one), and completed Pok?mon Sapphire before I did. Sometimes she'll buy a game on my recommendation, or I'll buy it for her - I got her Zelda: Wind Waker, because it rules - but she also bought herself Crazy Taxi after enjoying it in the arcades so much. I like that a lot.

I don't think she'll ever, ever be as into her games as I am, like - she didn't get on with Sonic Adventure DX because it gave her motion sickness, and she prefers Mario to Sonic anyway - but for her to even like them at all is a big bonus. She loves Wario Ware, Donkey Konga, Mario Party... loads of good stuff. I got her into Golden Sun as well, but I don't know how much she liked it. I think it's time I asked her to come and post Tongue

They're a rarity mate, but they are out there.

PC Games:
Having been to the major lan events in NZ over the past 5 years, there has been a real surge lately.
A lot of younger sisters are picking up FPS Games - and a lot of girlfriends are definitely playing WoW.

Though it seems you won't find (edit: many)girls with non-gamer(or no) boyfriends playing games, unless they are 16 or younger.

Indeed...indeed.

There is a catch though, when not trying to "fight for wommankind" some tend to do this ever annoying "im a Girl! Tee Hee!" shat that's supposed to get them a free ride, sympathy, or assistance in any way just because they are indeed female.

That has ALWAYS annoyed me

What you need to remember, mate, is that women have double standards - one minute they're fighting against the years of patriarchal oppression that have weighed them down, and the next they want you to go easy on them because they're girls.

Double standards, of course, are fine for women to have, but not at all acceptable for men to have. That's the beauty of them!

Double standards are at the base of our modern society, and are what populate our masses of emotionally destroyed men - who without we would never have reached the space age, sonic the hedgehog, and possibly even peanut butter (which I still feel is some poor guys frustration being taken out on nuts(real nuts, not just girls)).

So next time you feel disrespected by what seems like a blatent lie, and is really a double-standard-lie-to-self just allow yourself to feel pathetically incapable of being wanted by any female for who you are, and help mankind instead!

Yes! That is right!

Put down your roses and fancy restaurant menus.  There are no more fish in the sea for you!  Hoorah to the man who picks up his spoon and announces that there will be no more ice cream!

Women will come and go, but glory is forever!

Double standards rock.

Woman - I want to be treated as an equal.

Yet you cannot hit a woman. But, you can a man...
