The Shining Source

Any of you seen this movie?
Watched it recently on DVD and it really disturbed me as it was weird and brilliant at the same time. Great actors and a disturbing story about a boy who has to take heavy medicaments because he's considered metally ill because he sees a creature that tells him that a tragic event will happen soon. All this is combined with the idea of time travel and its ethics.
Haven't seen so disturbing pictures since Natural Born Killers - tho Donnie Darko needed no blood to disturb me.

Still can't decide if I love or hate it.


IMDB can't even decide the genre:

But at least it has a better summery than mine:

I loved the movie! Especially the scene with the TV guy and the kiddie porn dungeon was just brilliant (or magnificent even ).

This is a really weird movie...I felt really stuffed up after watching it - hadn't slept for ages, was possibly slightly drunk. But still, once I thought it over in my head, it did seem like a good movie.
The most screwed-up movie ever would have to be Eraserhead in my opinion...dear o dear, I hope none of u ever watch that one...

Donnie Darko was very good.
