Introduction to Seani-Music
Heyyyy Mates,

I think ive done this once or maybe even twice before. I love electronic music, it just never seems to get old to me so ive decided in my sleeplessness (its 1:06 AM over here and i just cant get to sleep damnit!)
ive decided to post some links to some pages so that you may find my music tracks that i enjoy oh so much Smiley

Its cool if this stuff isnt your bag, i wouldnt presume to have the same musical tastes as any of you guys! But if you do enjoy this kinda music then so much the better right?

*ahem*
The type of music that i am referring to is Spacesynth. A type of electronic music that seems to focus more on melody rather than the deep 'thud thud' snare. Bass takes a more important role in the overall melody and the snare itself sticks mostly to a steady one per second rate, although there are times it switches up and hits a few times for a small section..but its not too annoying (not an exact second but you'll get the idea when you hear it hehe)

It may take me a few tries to get the links right Sad so bear with me! hehe!

Here we go!

http://www.mikseri.net/music/play.php?id=155880&type=dl
The above link is to a song called The Glory of The Space by The Digital Jupiter. Choice stuff, switches up and moves.

http://www.mikseri.net/music/play.php?id=144804&type=dl
This link is to a song called Magic History, this is not the original done by Marco Rochowski but a remix by someone that goes by Krzysztof Radomski. very upbeat and happy tune!

http://www.mikseri.net/music/play.php?id=140999&type=dl
This is a personal favorite. Starship Troopers by none other than Michael Hornproof (this guy kicks ass) This song is just..hehe..this is good Smiley

Ok! three to start off with Smiley If you dont like any sort of electronic/techno kinda music or synthesisers in general i dont suggest any of the above songs for you Sad

Lemme know if you happened to like it! i've got tons of other songs in my library Smiley

thankyou and goodnight!!
*runs to check if links work and hits the pillow*

Hey Sean Smiley

Just spent the last hour listening to these three on repeat while I work, really good to keep my drive going.

Thanks for the heads up on it all, I'm fairly ecclectic and there isn't much I say no to - however something I can listen to while working is very, very rare.  Cheers Smiley

(why does some of this remind me of clocking old school games?)

Hi Elv!!

Glad you can work to them! They do bring back memories of old school games eh? Hopefully the genre wont get boring, you find the samness of the music after a few songs but the neat thing is that the focus is more on the melody Smiley

Try these three on, hope they dont dissapoint!
From the Favorites:

http://www.mikseri.net/music/play.php?id=138029&type=dl
This one is called C-4 San Diego (Mark Vera Remix). It is indeed a Remix but with the style of Mark Vera (his real name is Jouni Airaksinen, a very very cool guy. Got to trade a few emails with him!) A highly danceable tune, very very well strung together

http://www.mikseri.net/music/play.php?id=37191&type=dl
Another Mark Vera tune. This is the very first Spacesynth song I ever downloaded, very very beautiful and peaceful stuff. Great to relax to, or hopefully work to Smiley

Close to you by Marco Rochowski. Very soft and happy song, some voice samples have been injected into the song, fair warning just in case Smiley

Hope those three are good! Smiley think its real cool that you can experience the music on a positive level Cheesy guess everyone else think my taste in music sucks huh?
hehe Kidding mates, Cheesy Hittin' the pillow again!

I think I've been listening to it too much, I woke up with it playing in my head this morning haha.

My favourite out of these has to be Marco Rochowski - Magic History.

you betcha Smiley

Lights of Stalingrad by Electron. This is a good strong lead-synth type of song, rather steady and such Smiley Couple snippets of wartime speech from FDR and Hitler make an introductory appearence and come back later in the song, good stuff.

http://www.mikseri.net/music/play.php?id=67110&type=dl
Through The Light by Dreamtime. This is some slower music but still has good play value to it. Very controlled but a smooth sort of feel.

http://www.mikseri.net/music/play.php?id=128828&type=dl
Neutron Star by Mekanoenergy. Upbeat, has its shares of ups and downs (as far as beat goes) but it is all stitched together very well, definately a favorite.

http://www.mikseri.net/music/play.php?id=185539&type=dl
Eclipsed Moments by Space Joe. I literally stumbled onto this while typing up this post Cheesy very very cool song, comes off like some bitchin' videogame music from days past. The tones used are pleasing and the song itself just seems to carry along. Good driving music i would think Smiley

More to come, ive got tons of favorites! hehehe

Double Post!!

Sorry but ive got an excuse..this song was stumbled on moments after i submitted the previous Sad and i just had to share it

http://www.mikseri.net/music/play.php?id=149575&type=dl
Infiltrator by Mekanoenergy. This has to be the fastest spacesynth type song i have ever heard. Extremely upbeat, but very very well strung together between the fast-paced beat and the slower more flowing synths that are common in spacesynth style music...Very awesome stuff, highly reccomended.

Oh, I remember these songs... they're very nice! Too bad we can't use them in games due to copyright issues Wink.
