Ty and I have taken on a challenge, where we must both complete pretty big challenges before midnight on October 31st.
I have to write a novel of 40,000 words or more, and Phil has to code a working game with at least four sub-games and twenty playable levels.
We are doing this to ourselves as we both want to do these things but are too lazy to do it without some form of motivation. Our motivation is such:

If I do not finish my novel before the midnight of October 31st, I will sell all my Shining Force III games - yes, and the Premium Disc - AND have my Wii deposit refunded.

If I does not finish his game, I will sell my Dreamcast and all of its games to a pikey (except for Shenmue, which I will sell to James).
Neither of us wants to do these things (though I'd like a working copy of Shenmue), so they should be motivation enough. We also have rewards, though:

When I finish my book, I will buy myself a Wii. If I don't, no Wii. Simple.

When I finish my game, I will buy myself a new PC. A shit-hot one.
We even have a contract and everything.

The question, then is this:
Who has the shittier end of this particular stick? I think both are fairly turdy.
I await your responses!
