The Shining Source

Howdy folks,

I've got myself more organised recently, so I have a little bit more time to work on the site. Is there anything in particular people would like to see on Shining Aid? I intend to rip the remaining Shining Force 2 team. I'd like to rip the enemies too, but that's a considerably larger task. I'm happy to do it, as long as it's useful

So...what would make Shining Aid more useful? Articles, graphics, sound or whatever. Go crazy and suggest something

Perhaps a strange statement, but I'd say projects that need it perhaps .

Are there any around that might make use of Shining Aid?

Some articles about Artificial Intelligence would be very nice.

At the moment I'm busy piecing together the AI for "Dark Resurrection" and
"Crusade of Great Intention".

Believe you me, there's a huge amount of work to do.

Pathfinding , Decisionmaking , Creating reference-tables for weapons,items,characters,
enemies.

So, maybe it's a good idea to write down my "experience" ( ) .
This way other people can benefit from it.

New articles are always welcome

I've done quite a bit of AI programming (but not for a while), so I could probably write a few basic articles on decision making and strategy. In fact, don't get me started on AI, because I won't shut up about it

So Ty, tell me more about AI.

Edit: Having thought a bit more about things, I'm beginning to wonder if something like genetic algorithms could be applied to the problem. I have a vision in my head at the moment, but trying to get it onto paper is not so easy...
