Evil town theme? Interesting interpretation, I always thought it was something like a "final fight (of chapter)" theme.

having tried and failed miserably at Darksols theme, i have located my problem, the backing melody is just played too fast. Im not good enuff on guitar to mimic it. As such, i will have to improvise the backing melody, which may compromise the authenticity and originality of the track.
Also, unlike the other tracks, there are not 1, not 2, not 3, but four lead channels (or lead guitars if u will) which all overlap to produce the end result. whilst I can record these individually, when overlapping that many lead guitars, it just sounds nasty. may have to drop some of the channels, or, worse still, record all lead guitar tracks from a digital synthesiser - which would clear up the nastyness in teh mix .. but wont sound particularly rock guitar-like.
running out of ideas ....

You could always do a creative remix and change the tempo or composition a little. I know all the other tracks aren't remixes, but they were never designed to be played on instruments so don't be too worried that you can't play it

well its done, finally, really messed around with some stuff, tried many things, in the end i made an improv riff backing, heavily over-driven (and loud) bass lines, with several lead guitars ... its a bit of a mess, but meh
it works ... kinda
